Situated at the W edge of a low ridge in undulating pasture. Not marked on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Much disturbed. Raised subrectangular area (17m E-W; 10.8m N-S; H 0.6m) whose N and S sides are defined by banks of earth and stone (Wth 2.8-3m; H 0.4m-0.8m). The E and W sides are defined by a scarp. Both ends of the S bank curve away gently from the enclosure in a S direction.
