Enclosure in Carhoogarriff (carbery W. (w.d.) By.)

In rough grazing, covered with gorse and ferns, on a SE-facing slope with a hill to the N and undulating farmland elsewhere. A roughly circular area (diam. 17m N-S) is defined by the remains of an earth and stone wall (T 1.1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.6m) N-SW and elsewhere by intermittent remains of the wall, incorporating small boulders. The level interior and the enclosing wall are obscured by overgrowth.
