In bogland on the E foothills of Knocknagallaun. Circular area (12.1m N-S; 11.2m E-W) cut into slope hill; enclosed by foundations of stone bank to N; stone-faced scarp (H 1.2m) to E; collapsed and low stone bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.1m) to W. Interior is level, raised on downhill side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
