What is recorded here

On gentle SE-facing slope, in reclaimed pasture, 310m to NW of the Reask River. A standing stone (LI024-296----) lies approximately on the E edge of the monument. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified as a penannular-shaped cropmark, open to NE, by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 112: AP 4/3676). Monument is visible as a faint dark green oval-shaped cropmark (approx. dims. 29m NW-SE; 16m NE-SW) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
