Situated on a W-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. Depicted as a small enclosure bisected by a road on a N-S axis on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. A kink in the field fence probably indicates the line of the original enclosing bank. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
