What is recorded here
Lios Rois Bhuidhe is a lost fort in Bankerstown, hiding from every search despite carrying a name clear enough to hurt. The yellow rope may have marked a boundary, a ritual or a warning, but the earth has taken back the shape that once held the rope.
The OS letters refer to a fort in Bankerstown called 'Lios Rois Bhuidhe' (Stubbs 1908, 36). Not located.
