What is recorded here
In tillage, at base of a gentle S-facing slope, on E side of low, natural rise. Depicted on the 1906 ed. OS 6-inch map as a sub-circular enclosure (dims. c. 18m NNE-SSW; c. 18m WNW-ESE) truncated across WNW sector by a linear field boundary running NNE-SSW and shown within a grove of trees which has since removed. This field and those to E and W have been amalgamated into one large field. Cahill (1982) states that this was in a 'very poor condition - partial destruction c. 1975….. one ditch….'. It is not visible at ground level.
