What is recorded here
In improved, gently undulating pasture, on a N-facing slope. A circular area (dims. 16m N-S; 14m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.25m) NE-NW and fosse (basal Wth 1.9m; overall Wth 6.5m; D 0.4m) SW-NW. The N arc of the scarp has been levelled off into a deep quarried ravine. The fosse from SE-S-SW (basal Wth 2m; overall Wth 15.6m; D 0.35m) is shared with a possible enclosure (TS063-033001-) to SSE. A linear drainage channel running NNE-SSW enters the fosse from upslope at SW. The interior has a NNE-facing slope and the monument is incorporated into the field as pasture.
