Enclosure in Ballynamona is a circular ditch, forty-five metres across, lying fifty metres from a ringfort in County Cork. It appeared only in a July 1989 aerial photograph, hidden beneath soil and grass until shadow and light pulled it into view. The ditch may have marked a yard, a shrine or a boundary for people who no longer leave names behind.
