Ring-ditch in Ballynamona is a ghostly circular mark, roughly ten metres across, hidden beneath the soil and revealed only when crops grow unevenly. It sits near a ringfort and another enclosure, suggesting a busy landscape where people lived, worked and perhaps argued over boundaries. The ditch may have marked a home, a shrine or a boundary, but the earth has swallowed the walls and tools that once gave it shape. What remains is a faint shadow in the grass, waiting for rain or sunlight to remind the field that it was not always empty.
