Enclosure in Ballymurragh East

Ballymurragh East holds a circular enclosure between two ringforts, its scarped edge barely forty centimetres high but wide enough to mark a boundary that pasture has since softened. The ground inside remains level while the outer world undulates, suggesting people once shaped a small clear space for ritual, work or residence before nature reclaimed the line. That the scarp fades into a natural ridge rather than disappearing entirely implies human hands and earthworks met instead of competing.
