Enclosure in Ballygilgan is an enclosure in Ballygilgan, County Sligo, Ireland. It is called Rath Aoibhinn, sits north of Ballygilgan Strand, and has no visible remains or known exact location.
Situated in gently undulating pasture immediately to the N of Balligilgan Strand. Not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. It is mentioned in the OS Letters as follows: 'In Ballygilgan Townland there is a part of a fort remaining immediately to the north of Ballygillgan Strand, called Rath Aoibhinn - Arx Amoena.' (OSL, 105). There is no visible surface trace of any enclosure or fort in this area. The exact location of this monument is unknown.
