On an elevated plateau in pasture within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-001001-). A subcircular enclosure (c. 82m N-s; c. 75m E-W) visible on Digital Globe (2011-13) and embedded in a particularly dense irregular field system. Reported to the National Monuments Service by Conn Herriott. A later N-S field boundary crosses the E part of the enclosure and another crosses the middle from E to W. A hut site (CL009-258001-) lies just SW of centre. Field boundaries extend off the perimeter in almost all directions. An enclosure (CL009-259----) of similar size lies c. 22m to the SE.
