Enclosure in Ballycahill — Report the wrong picture

On a slight rise in reclaimed pasture on the SE side of the Ballyvaughan valley, overlooked by Ailwee to the SE. A circular enclosure (diam. 20m) defined by a heavily overgrown earth and stone scarp (H 1.7m) surviving best from N to SE was noted on inspection in 1998. The presence and/or position of an entrance was unclear. The interior was covered in scrub. Visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) but levelled apart from a gentle mound on OSi MapGenie orthophotography (2013-2018). A cashel (CL005-052----) lies c. 128m to the NE.
