On level ground on the summit of a low ridge, in undulating terrain, under tillage. An enclosure identified as a large oval cropmark on an aerial photograph (GB91.EN.23, 20 August 1991). There is no visible trace of enclosure above ground, though the ground does rise slightly in W quadrant which may be defining the edge of the monument. There is a small copse of trees still standing in the S quadrant.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
