Enclosure in Ballybar Lower is a circular earthwork in County Carlow, Ireland, with a broad bank and external fosse about fifty metres across. It may be a ringfort, though no standing wall or door remains visible. The field has kept its shape long enough for crops to reveal the buried line, suggesting people once drew a clear boundary around a small life.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photograph (CUCAP AYL 26) shows circular area enclosed by well-developed cropmark of broad bank with external fosse (est max. diam. c. 50m). Possibly a ringfort.
