Situated on a break in a SW-facing slope, in pasture. Identified on an aerial photograph taken June 1973 (GSIAP, R 118/9) as a circular cropmark with field boundaries along the edge at E and S. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
