Enclosure in Ailt An Tsneachta

No trace of the single-ringed enclosure now survives above ground. It is not clear from conflicting local reports as to whether it was an earthen or stone enclosure. It was situated on a grassy hillock N of the Reelan River surrounded by marshy poor land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
