Hachured as a ringfort on 1910 ed OS 6-inch map with an extra element at the NW side, possibly a berm, indicated. Road at SW cut through site which is now levelled. No visible surface remains. Shown on ACAP (V 300 705/4) as tree-covered enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 17 December 2007
