Emlin is a small upland feature, likely less than 300 meters in height, situated within the broader Pennines range near Sheffield. Its geology is typical of the region, comprising Carboniferous limestone and millstone grit, and while not widely known in folklore, it contributes to the local landscape's historical and ecological value.
