What is recorded here
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 45m) and 1926 (ext. diam. c. 55m) eds of the OS 6-inch maps, and situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Slightly dished, grass-covered subcircular area (dims. 47m NW-SE; 42m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.5m) incorporated into a stone-faced field bank SE-NW. The widely spread remains of a bank (Wth 10m; H 0.2m) survive elsewhere.
