What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight SE-facing slope with a small S-N stream c. 150m to the E. It is described in the 1940s as the slight outline of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). Nothing is visible at ground level in a harvested cereal crop. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
