Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tawlaght (boyle By., Killukin Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. The oval grass-covered area sits on a small drumlin and measures 45m east-west by 34m north-south. An overgrown earthen bank forms the north-east edge while a scarp defines the rest. A wet ground band marks the outer fosse and an overgrown field bank connects the site to another rath.
On top of a small drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims 45m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3m at E to 4.4m at N; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.95-1.5m) N-E and a scarp (H 0.2m at SW to 1.5m at NW) elsewhere. There is an outer fosse represented by a band of wet ground (Wth 3m) W-ENE and the site is circumscribed by an overgrown field bank ESE-W which is part of the perimeter of rath (RO011-014002-) immediately to the SE. Rath (RO011-012----) is c. 170m to the NW and rath (RO011-013----) is c. 190m to the NNW.
