Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Roxborough, County Roscommon, Ireland. It forms a circular grass-covered area defined by a broad earthen bank on a gentle south-facing slope. Two other rath sites lie about 170 metres away to the west and east-northeast. The feature appeared on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map as a circular embanked form.
Marked as a circular embanked feature (ext. diam. c. 55-60m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 47.8m N-S; 45.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 8-8.5m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.1-0.35m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO039-021----) is c. 170m to the W and the possible rath (RO039-023----) is c. 170m to the ENE.
