Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Roxborough, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a slight south-facing slope in a low-lying landscape, forming a circular area nearly forty-seven metres across. An overgrown earthen bank and outer fosse define the boundary, while two entrances face west-southwest and north-northwest without causeways. Another rath lies about one hundred twenty metres to the southeast.
On a slight S-facing slope in a low-lying landscape. Circular area (diam. 46.6m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.2-5.7m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.7-1.3m), and an outer fosse (Wth of top 5.4-6.4m; Wth of base 1.2-2.9m; D 0.2-0.3m) SSE-N-E. There are entrances, but no causeways, at WSW (Wth 3.2m) and NNW (Wth 1.4m). Rath (RO039-028----) is c. 120m to the SE.
