It occupies the top of a gentle north-facing hill slope and contains a circular grass area about sixty metres wide. An overgrown earthen bank and rounded fosse surround the centre, while a field wall incorporates part of the bank on the east and southeast. A narrow entrance appears at the east southeast, and a barrow lies one hundred and twenty metres to the south southwest.
