Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lugboy (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a broad saddle where higher ground stands about 1km to the east, northwest and southwest. A circular grass-covered area measures 32m north-south and 29.5m east-west behind an earthen bank and outer fosse, although the eastern perimeter is quarried away and the original entrance remains unidentified.
In a broad saddle with higher ground c. 1km to the E, NW and SW. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m N-S; 29.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some scrub (Wth 3.4-3.7m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.8-1m), and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.8m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.4m) SW-NNE. The original entrance is not identified, and the perimeter is quarried away ESE-SSE.
