Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Derrane, County Roscommon, Ireland. The 1837 Ordnance Survey map marked it as an oval embanked enclosure at the bottom of a north-facing slope, but the earthwork is no longer visible at ground level in the pasture.
Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 55m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the bottom of a N-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
