What is recorded here
Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Crannagh More, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular overgrown area measures about thirty metres across on a rise in an undulating landscape. An overgrown stone spread defines the western, southern and northern perimeter, while a stoney scarp marks the remainder. No original entrance is identifiable, and Cashel stands sixty metres to the southwest.
