On a low-lying, level landscape with a NW-SE stream or drain c. 100m to the SW. Subcircular reed-covered area (dims 31m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3.3m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.6-1m) and hedge with no visible fosse. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at WNW. Rath (RO028-158----) is c. 180m to the NNW, and fulacht fia (RO028-237----) is c. 50m to the SW.
