What is recorded here

Towards the bottom of a steep SSE-facing slope. Rectangular grass-covered but poached area (dims 39m ENE-WSW; 33m NNW-SSE) defined by earthen banks (Wth 5.3-6m; int. H. 0.55m at W to 1.6m at N; ext. H 1.1m) with some bushes at WSW and NNW, reduced to a scarp at ENE (H 0.8m) and SSE (H 1.45m), but with no visible surface evidence of an enclosing element at the NE angle. There is an outer flat-bottomed moat (Wth of top 6.7m; Wth of base 4.5m; D 1.1m) at the E end of the NW side. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 29th September, 2010
