Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrownaglogh, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rise in a low-lying landscape and presents a circular grass-covered area bounded by an earthen bank and rounded fosse. Another rath lies two hundred metres to the east.
On a rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 36.4m E-W; 35.2m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (at S: Wth 3.9m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.9m; at W: Wth 7.4m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 2m) S-W-NNE, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7.4m; Wth of base 2.8-3.1m; D 0.45m-0.9m) S-N-ESE. There is no identifiable original entrance.
