Situated on a gentle W-facing slope. This is a rectangular, wooded area (dims. 41m E-W; 38m N-S) with raised corners defined by earthen banks (at W: Wth 5m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2m). There is an external flat bottomed moat (at W: Wth of top 10m; D 2m) with an outer bank (at W: Wth 4m; ext H 0.6m) on each side but there is no identifiable entrance.
