Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyglass (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures 30.5m NW-SE and sits towards the top of a NE-facing slope. A slight scarp or broad rise defines the boundary, while the NW section joins a field bank. Other raths appear 50m to the W and between 90m and 210m to the E, ESE, SE and SSE.
Towards the top of a NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.5m NW-SE) defined by a slight scarp or broad rise, which is incorporated into a field bank at NW. The rath (RO045-012001-) is c. 50m to the W, and raths (RO045-017----; RO045-016----; RO045-015----; RO045-014----) are c. 210m to the E, 200m to the ESE, 140m to the SE and 90m to the SSE respectively.
