Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyglass (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle NE-facing shelf where faint grass-covered traces form a D-shaped area measuring about 31m east-west and 30m north-south. A broad 0.2m bank marks the straight eastern edge, while stone-faced earthen field banks define the southern and western boundaries. Three other raths appear within 200m to the NW, NNW and SE.
On a shelf of a gentle NE-facing slope. Faint traces of a grass-covered D-shaped area (dims c. 31m E-W; c. 30m N-S) defined by a broad bank or slight scarp (H c. 0.2m) on the straight E side, straight stone-faced earthen field banks at S and W, and a slight scarp W-N. Raths (RO045-016----; RO045-017----; RO045-019---) are c. 180m to the NW, 200m to the NNW and 60m to the SE respectively.
