Embanked enclosure

Marked as a small circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25-30m) incorporating the townland boundary with Ballyduff N-SE on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in an undulating pastureland. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 25m) defined by a field bank and hedge NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
