Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballinphuill (frenchpark By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits just off the top of a low knoll on the south-facing slope. A gapped earthen bank and overgrown outer bank surround a circular grass-covered area, while the outer bank joins a road bank and field bank. The entrance could not be identified.

Just off the top of a low knoll on the S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m E-W; 30.8m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (at N: Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of base 3.6m; D 1.2-1.6m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 3.7-4.3m; ext. H 0.2m at N to 1.6m at S), which is incorporated into a road bank NE-SE and a field bank SE-SW. The entrance could not be identified. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
