On a level landscape. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims. 38m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m) with a slight outer fosse (at W: Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.3m) SSE-W, and a scarp (H 0.9m) E-S. The site is truncated at N by an E-W road and overlain by a N-S field bank and drain towards the perimeter at E. There is a modern entrance (Wth 3m) at SSW.
