What is recorded here

Eastoke Point is a coastal headland composed primarily of Chalk, dating to the Late Cretaceous period, around 66 to 100 million years old. The rock formed from the accumulation of marine microfossils in a warm, shallow sea, and the headland is notable for its classic example of chalk geology along the southern English coast.
