The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Shown on 1908 'OS 6-inch' map as small circular enclosure (max. diam. c. 40m). Now visible as low circular platform (max. diam. c. 25m; H 0.6m), with traces of possible external fosse visible at W. Central part has slightly domed profile. On slightly raised ground in otherwise low-lying ill-drained area. Possibly a ringfort.
