In pasture, immediately S of townland boundary with Ballyvulhane, a mound (LI040-050005-) lies 50m to the NW. Possible site (Site No. 040116) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2553) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline (Strip Map 5, Site 5/8). Listed as 'Bruff 81' on the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 81; AP 5/2108) as a rectangular-shaped enclosure . No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Faint trace of rectangular shaped enclosure (dims. c. 28m E-W) on Google Earth orthoimages.
