What is recorded here

Series of banks and trenches in field W of St Medoc's Church, possibly part of original graveyard or landscape gardening, may belong to a medieval village stretching through Churchtown, Tullakeel and Stormanstown. The earth still holds the shape of hands that dug it, perhaps marking death, perhaps shaping pleasure, while Mill Hill and Mill Race wait beside it like forgotten witnesses.

Complex of church site in Churchtown townland (LH013-028----), earthworks in this townland and in Tullakeel townland (LH013-023----), 'the Mill Park', 'Mill Hill' and 'Mill Race' in Stormanstown townland may form part of medieval village.
