In improved pasture 125m W of a local road. Enclosure (LI049-251----) lies 120m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Possible site identified as a large oval-shaped enclosure during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000, 2606) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint trace of earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. See attached Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph and Google Earth orthoimages.
