Situated on a N-facing slope of rising ground in undulating pasture with a bog nearby to the N. Marked as a roughly circular-shaped platform type earthwork on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Not marked on any subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Not visible at ground level.
