In reclaimed pasture, 170m SE of townland boundary with Laurencetown South. Not marked on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped platform (dims. 27m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) defined by a scarp. Levelled earthwork visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
