Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in undulating, hilly pastureland. Indicated as a roughly sub-rectangular shaped platform type earthwork in the NE angle of a field on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not indicated on subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. The site has been levelled and the field boundary which abutted the site has been cleared. Not visible at ground level.
