Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill in undulating, hilly pastureland. Indicated as a roughly sub-rectangular shaped platform type earthwork in the NE angle of a field on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not indicated on subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. The site has been levelled and the field boundary which abutted the site has been cleared. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
