Situated on a SE-facing slope in undulating terrain of rough pasture. Marked as a circular enclosure with trees around the circumference on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map but not indicated on the 1952-3 revision. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
