What is recorded here

In reclaimed pasture immediately S of the townland boundary with Ardharin. Enclosure (LI049-154----) lies 100m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular enclosure during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000, 82) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Monument is visible as a levelled circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 60m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018 where it is truncated at N and S by a drainage ditch running N-S and intersected at SE by a drainage ditch running E-W. Faint outline of circular cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 21/06/2021. See attached Bórd Gáis Éireann aerial photograph and Google Earth orthoimages.
