What is recorded here

Fifty metres of vanished circle survives only as a faint arc in aerial photographs, the rest erased from Haynestown. Whether it marked a gathering place, a boundary or a forgotten ritual, the earth has taken back most of its shape. What remains is a ghost line, waiting for someone to imagine the life that once moved inside it.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
