What is recorded here

On the Rathcroghan plateau. Circular grass-covered and rounded rise (diam. c. 30m; H 1m). Indicated as a ritual monument (Herity 1988, 70, fig. 20, No. 28) and as a destroyed rath (Herity 1987a, fig. 27, Glenballythomas 2). This is a gentle rise (diam. c. 25-30m) defined by a wide scarp (max. H c. 1m). It may be natural. (Waddell, 1987-8, 35, No. 53) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
